The Host Fam.

On the left, my host brother Farouk. On the right, my host brother Amine. Both study Economics at the University of Mohammed V in Rabat and love kyaking, sailing, and surfing in the summer. Amine is actually the 3rd place champion of Africa in kyaking - but he is so modest, you would never know. And Farouk is your average sweet and quiet 18-year-old boy... loves video games and mint tea with tons of sugar. The guy in the middle, Radi, is a friend of my brothers' and comes over everyday... basically my third brother. He works in the royal military, plays the trumpet, and loves speaking to me in rapid fire Arabic just to see how much I'll understand - which is usually nothing! My home life is one of practical jokes, play wrestling, and late-night movie watching. They're good guys. :)
